Wordpress wasn't built overnight.
The closer I get to re-launch this blog with a homegrown Blog engine, the more I realize how much work it takes to build something rock-solid. This mini-CMS doesn't have hundreds of features, just a few, but I'd like them to be bullet-proof.
Recently, I've been struggling with url rewriting and data validation. I had to rewrite a substantial amount of code, because these aspects haven't been planned from the beginning. I wouldn't go as far as saying that I need 20 pages of specs, but a roadmap would have been quite useful.
The one thing I'm happy with so far, is the color scheme:
Hopefully, I'll be able to launch soon ( May 1st Reboot ?), as I have many interesting projects in the pipe.
